Be Free in God.

Happy Friday Ya’ll! I know most are elated that it is Friday in general, the week is coming to an end and/ or some would say, “they live for the weekend.” (Lol, ie. My Sis love her weekends). ? All in all, the weekend is here and let’s call it Free Friday.

Just take a moment and thank God for getting you through this week. Whether it was really good and it went by so fast. It started off good and then slowed down. Maybe, it has just been a crazy/hectic or slow/hectic kind of week that you just couldn’t wait to make it here. Come on, repeat after me:

 Prayer:

Thank you God for sustaining me through this week and  giving me the power to do and  the will to end the work week strong. In Jesus name, Amen.

Well, I’m glad it’s Friday! I am free to wind down my week and focus on what really matters –  hanging with God, relaxing and enjoying the moment and yeah that part -> prepare for the upcoming week (virtual and full time job here we come). The key thing is, “I get to.”

Anywho, I want you to take a moment and reflect on what God has gotten you through this week. One you have it, thank Him for it.

• God I thank you for keeping me in my right mind.

• Thank you Lord for being my strength.

• God, you had my back all week long.

• I’ve been tested all week long, but God you reign and rule over all circumstances.

• God, I can be free in you to hold the course until change comes.

“I always look to the Lord for help. Only he can free me from my troubles.”

Psalms 25:15 ERV

Any trial, test and/or tribulation, God’s got your back (hearing the voice of Pastor Angela). He won’t let you fall. He won’t let you down. He will keep you and hold you up in contradicting times. Who knew what all would happen this year. I am grateful and thankful to God that we are able to be Free in Him, to come boldly to throne of grace to obtain His mercy and favor, just when we need it.

“Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God’s unmerited favor to us sinners), that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it].”

Hebrews 4:16 AMPC

Right now, we  need Him more than ever. And closing (lol), whatever the need may be or situation you faced all week long, lay it at God’s feet (His altar) and choose to be Free in Him.

Be free to talk to Him.

Be free to ask Him questions.

Be free to let Him be a friend/a Confidant.

Be free to allow Him in your heart and mend broken pieces.

Be free to believe that if He said it, He will do it.

Be free to know that thanks be to God who always causes us to triumph.

Enjoy the weekend and be present in the moment. Don’t let a day go by without talking to God.

Love ya,

Bri

Prayer:

Thank you Father that I am free in You. This is the day that you have made so I choose to rejoice and be glad in it. You are amazing and there is no one like You. Thank you Father that I can cast all my cares, worries and doubts on you because you care for me so much. I thank you for Your Strength and Your Peace right now because You give me the peace that surpasses all understanding. I lay down what I think I should be doing and I choose to give it You. It was You who sustained me this week and now, I rest in You. I believe and receive it in Jesus name, Amen.
