Trusting God Through Prayer

You know the kind of prayers where we keep asking over and over again like, “God, I know you heard me the first time but I just want to double check.”

The funny thing is that we believe God did not hear us may be the first, second or third time so we keep asking.  It may be that the one thing we have been believing for has not produced yet, so we keep asking. It could be that I’m not sure I trust you so I will ask again as if He didn’t hear us.

I know God is like really my child. I know your thoughts even before you come to me and ask them yourself. It’s like a parent who already knows their child has their own thing they have been asking and see. Then sets their affection for that one thing but they keep coming up to you and ask, “Will you get this for me?” As an adult, we ask God, “Will you do what you promised?  You showed me my end result for the promise and yet, I have no clue where to start? Why hasn’t it happened yet?”

It’s like we ask trembling and trusting or even by repetitiveness because we think it will move God faster.

Well, I come to tell you that it really only takes ONE time to ask God. The Word does not say keep asking and asking. It says if we ask in confidence within His will, we KNOW that He hears us. If we KNOW that He hears, it’s done. It’s settled with absolute knowledge that what we asked God for.

It’s in the Bible! Check it out below……

“This is the [remarkable degree of] confidence which we [as believers are entitled to] have before Him: that if we ask anything according to His will, [that is, consistent with His plan and purpose] He hears us. And if we know [for a fact, as indeed we do] that He hears and listens to us in whatever we ask, we [also] know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that we have [granted to us] the requests which we have asked from Him.”
1 John 5:14-15 AMP

After we ask, we praise God and thank Him for what we asked for. You know, like Abraham who praised God for His promised son and gave Him all the glory. That what He promised, He was faithful to fulfill and bring it to pass.

“He never doubted that God would do what he promised. He never stopped believing. In fact, he grew stronger in his faith and just praised God. Abraham felt sure that God was able to do what he promised.”
Romans 4:20-21 ERV

We have to be sure and confident that ……
? God will do what He said He will do. He will fulfill every promise to you! Don’t give up on God, because He won’t give up on You, He’s Able! ?

Come ??on ?? Deitrick ??Haddon!!!!

He’s able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we can ask or even imagine to think. What kind of God will want us to keep asking and asking and a praying for the same things. No, He wants us to be CONFIDENT with the assurance He’s Able!

Let’s start 2021 with Bold prayers and asking God for the supernatural to happen in our lives. To exceed our wildest dreams and fulfill the promises He out in His Word. Let’s not be fearful but strong in faith giving glory to God for all that He has done, is doing and what He will do!
