???? ??? ??? ????

I encourage you today to be purposeful in prayer. It is so vital that now more than ever we need to strive daily to have a personal relationship with God. It starts with – Prayer.

Now that church has been forced to go hybrid and some can somewhat fellowship in person and/or online, our relationship with God needs to be stronger and very intimate. Our prayer lives will be the precursor in entering into His Gates with thanksgiving and entering His courts with praise. To talk to Him and dwell with Him. To get to know His voice and another we will not follow. To be able to be led by the Spirit and not by our feelings and the flesh.

We pray because it helps us hear clearly from God. We pray because it’s one of the most valuable times we spend with God. Prayer allows us to be authentic and real with God – ask Him questions, get answers and be led by His Spirit.  Prayer gives us the confidence to keep holding on and stand in faith when everything seems to be rattling our faith.

The thing we know or desire to do, we choose not to do it because we have more important things to do. But let me ask you this, who is the one that can redeem your time and give you every step and answer that you need for that day?

Answer = God.

Why not spend time with the One who already knows our deepest thoughts and ways?

His ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts Higher than our thoughts.

 I challenge you right now to put God first and pray. The Bible says that we should “Pray all the time” and not be slothful and lazy. Let’s get excited in serving Him! When we put Him first, He then puts us first with our desires and wants. Seek Him 1st! The diligent will be rewarded but it’s only for those who believe that He is.

I hope this has pushed you to get into your prayer closet (where ever that is) and talk to God. Everything we do, be happy because our hope resides in Him and He hears us as we pray believing.

Love ya,
Bri?

As you serve the Lord, work hard and don’t be lazy. Be excited about serving him! Be happy because of the hope you have. Be patient when you have troubles. Pray all the time.
